I am one of the Career Exploration Teachers for 6th grade & will be Coaching football, soccer,and baseball. This is my 1st year with Calallen ISD and 12th year overall. I began my teaching career in 2009-2010 at St.Anthony School in Robstown, where I was a PE Teacher, Spanish Teacher,and Head Coach for Volleyball & Basketball. In 2012-2016, I was a PE Teacher and Coached Football, Basketball & Baseball at Kingsville ISD. In 2016-2017, I was the DAEP Teacher and Coached Football, Basketball & Baseball at Aransas Pass ISD. In 2018-2020, I was the Credit Recovery Teacher and Coached Volleyball, Basketball, and Softball at Beeville ISD. In 2020-2021, I was a Spanish, PE, and Career Explore Teacher and Coached Football, Basketball, and Head Baseball Coach at Runge ISD. I spent the past 2 years (2021-2023) at Tuloso Midway ISD. I was a DAEP Teacher my first year there and then ISSTeacher in my second year. I coached Football and Softball.

I am married to my beautiful wife Tanya and will be married 23 years on Nov. 11, 2023. We have 5 beautiful daughters and 1 handsome baby boy!!! I am a 28 year military veteran who has served in the U.S Army, Texas National Guard and still currently in the Army Reserves.

I am really looking forward and really excited to serve our CISD students, parents/guardians, and community. The students will explore and learn many things in my class and will get a variety of professionals to help and instill endless possibilities for their future success and careers in life.
