My educational background includes a bachelors degree majoring in Special Education from Texas A&M University in College Station. I have taught ECSE 12 years and loved every minute of it! Before becoming a Calallen Wildcat, I taught in Bryan, Texas. I taught for half a year in a middle school classroom teaching students with autism. I then transferred within the district to an ECSE classroom where I taught for 3 years until I met my husband and moved here. My husband and I have two beautiful children; our daughter is six and our son is four.
Communication is very important to your child's success.I am so passionate about early intervention and we are a TEAM. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns, big or small. My conference period is 11:30-12:00 each day.
I am extremely excited to have the opportunity to teach your child. I know it can often be scary leaving your child in the hands of someone new, but I promise you that you have nothing to worry about. You will see your child thrive in the school setting. I have been blessed with an incredible support staff within the classroom and this is a huge piece to the success of our program. It is going to be an awesome year!
