I was born and raised in Texas, but as a military spouse I've lived everywhere from Washington to Florida.  I even spent two years in Italy!  I received my undergraduate  teaching degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1994 and a Master of Science in Educational Technology from Texas A&M Corpus Christi in 2011.  I have twelve years of experience teaching 4th and 5th grade Language Arts.  This year you'll find me in the library at Magee as I transition to the role of librarian/media specialist.  I can't wait to share my love of reading with your children!
