I am originally from Louisiana and lived there until 1992. At that time, my husband and I were transferred to El Paso and after four years in El Paso, we were transferred to Corpus Christi, where we have lived since.

I hold a BSIS in Elementary Education grades 1-8 with an emphasis in Language. My past work experience has taken me from third grade, to first grade, up to fifth grade, to fourth grade, and back to 5th. I have taught self contained all subject areas to departmentalized emphasizing on ELAR.
