  • 8th Grade Math Boot Camp 2023

    8th graders had the chance to participate in the Math/Science Boot Camp on Wednesday, April 26th! All CMS math teachers helped make this possible by overseeing one of eight stations. We are so grateful for the amazing support they have given the 8th math team.   • 8th Grade Math Catapult Project 2023

    8th math enriched classes worked with a partner to create two catapults to compare in accuracy, power, and ability to knock over a tower. Students then took it further to determine how angle of launch affected the catapult distance. Check out the video!

  • 8th Grade Math Balloon Car Project 2023

    8th Grade Math Enriched classes created balloon propelled cars to calculate the speed at which their car traveled in feet per second. Check out the short 2-minute video showing our Race Day.
