Athletic Highlights

The mission of the Calallen ISD athletic department is to develop a program of competitive athletics that focuses on enhancing student performance. CISD is committed to providing learning opportunities that will help students formulate and achieve their goals. This program will include all students who have the desire and ability to participate in University Interscholastic League sports. The primary goal is to promote sportsmanship and provide students with opportunities that will lead to their academic success and promote individual and team development, as well as fostering self-fulfillment through competitive athletics.

All current athletes will need a new form beginning June 1, 2023. Submit this form to an Athletic Trainer for further evaluation and directives.

As a new security measure, Calallen ISD will be enacting a clear-bag policy for athletic events effective with the next home football game on September 27, 2019. The intent is to improve district safety and security for our spectators. Please see the attached for procedures and information regarding approved items. We thank all of our fans for their continued support of Calallen students.
