Welcome WILDCATS to the 2023-2024 school year!

My name is Mr. Ricardo Martinez, I will be teaching in the CTE Department here at Calallen High School. I am originally from Alice, Texas and a graduate of Alice High School. I attended Texas A&M University- Kingsville and obtained my Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (Education) and my Master of Science Degree in Educational Administration. I am currently a doctoral student at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi pursuing my Doctor of Education Degree (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership. In addition to teaching, I am also the Calallen High School Varsity, JV, and Freshmen Assistant Tennis Coach. Lastly, I am one of the three sponsors for the Business Professionals of America (BPA) at Calallen High School. This is my second year at Calallen High School and I am excited to work with all students, parents, teachers, and administrators! Let's make it a great year and remember...IT'S A GREAT DAY TO BE A WILDCAT!
