About Rick:

My hometown is Waco, Texas. I attended Baylor University for my undergraduate, and Dallas Baptist University for graduate school. I have a big passion for sports and outdoor activites. I have currently peaked 8 "fourteeners" in Colorado, and hope to hike more mountains there. I am a diehard Baylor football fan, and rarely miss any of the games if possible. I am a husband and a father. Over the past 5 years I have been working in youth development. This is my first year as a teacher, and I am excited to have the opportunity to educate and grow youth here at Calallen High School. 

Some of my favorite hobbies:

-Ultimate Frisbee (Played on club team at Baylor)

-Hiking, Rock Climbing

-Tennis

-Pickleball

-Watching just about any major sport (mostly football)
